Percussion gun HOWDAH Hunter cal. 20/20

A classic double-barreled pistol that is a reproduction of the Anglo-Saxon style applied to hunting pistols in the second half of the 19th century. in distant colonial territories and India. For its performance and reliability, it was preferred by officers of the English army and proven for shooting at shorter distances, as protection against wild game. The decoration of percussion locks corresponds to this – the lock plates are engraved with scenes of wild animals. The stock is walnut, the handle is roughened with a dovetail for a more secure grip. At the end of the handle is a massive fitting, serving as a counterweight. The kit -  the trigger guard and the lining of the bores of the barrel wedges -  is steel, with marbling. The sights consist of a pearl front sight. An extension stock (USA 133) can be purchased for the weapon, which helps to better control the weapon when shooting. They are mainly for the 20/20 caliber with a smooth bore, for the .50/.50 caliber with a grooved one.

Available in 20/20 and .50/.50.
