The air rifle brand Gamo Big Cat impresses with a nice solid wood stock and low weight. The cheekpiece of the rifle is located on the left side. The stock is anatomically good and it is easy to aim with it. The stock is roughened with a dovetail at the neck.

The air rifle is relatively light, but it has a very decent performance up to 24 Joules. The performance is provided by a spring-piston system. The speed of the bullet and the performance of the weapon are determined, among other things, by the condition of the rifle and the ammunition used. The rifle is cocked when the barrel is broken to the extreme position. The barrel is of course fluted and therefore accurate.

In front of the trigger in the trigger area there is a manual metal safety, which is unlocked logically towards the trigger. The trigger stroke is adjustable.

The sights are equipped with plastic with light-guiding fibers. Aiming is more comfortable and faster. The rear sight is height and side adjustable.

The Big Cat is equipped with 11mm grooves in the rear for attaching a rifle scope or other accessories. The movement of the rifle scope in the grooves is prevented by a solid and screwed stop in the form of a thick sheet metal.

This is a strong and simple rifle in a lighter design, which resembles the good old Slavia rifles. Due to its lower weight, the rifle can also be recommended for younger shooters or women. The Big Cat is also worth buying as a so-called starter air rifle for beginners.
